Imagine a day when there is no Google, no trace of the company and its daily work tools. That same day there would be no Yahoo, no Twitter, no Facebook, no Amazon, or PayPal, and many other companies that have demonstrated their total rejection of SOPA. That strike was discussed a few days begins to take shape. The so-called "nuclear option" could be one of the most historic moments in modern history on the network. On January 24, SOPA is voted the day before the day is noted as the largest network defense against regulation.
And so, after filtration Cnet, there are many voices that point to Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, PayPal, Wikipedia, AOL and other large corporations against the bill, are in talks to have the Blackaout day or as the same Markham Erickson of NetCoalition, dubbed the nuclear option.
We know that this coalition would be formed in front by the following companies among others:

One option would be that all these companies' web sites and online services stopped working 24 hours for the sole purpose of raising awareness among Internet users and those seeking approval from the danger SOUP. A risky option with costs likely to millionaires, but a final pathway, as we would be looking for the speaker to raise complaints about SOUP.
If the battle against regulation and showed its peak just before Christmas, with the tremendous boycott GoDaddy for supporting the legislation, it can have even greater consequences.
Although no official confirmation about it, the idea is clear. All the wrath of consumers or users to the "blackout" may reverse against the idea that lies behind SOUP. The information available on whether there will be a disconnection of services is based on confidential information that was given to Cnet by Markham Erickson. He reported that the companies were in talks "very serious" for this joint protest. If any, is noted as the probable date to Jan. 23, a day before the Senate returns to debate SOUP. That date would be the right time to bring in the most clear aberration that would be about to be adopted.
Also stated by Senator Harry Reid himself over the weekend:
Soup is an extremely important bipartisan legislation. Hopefully we can have a couple of productive days, approve it and move on to other issues.

Esa huelga de la que se habló hace unos días comienza a tomar forma. La denominada “opción nuclear” podría ser uno de los momentos más históricos de la historia moderna en la red. El 24 de enero se vota SOPA, el día antes se apunta como el día de la mayor defensa de la red contra la regulación.
Y es que tras la filtración a Cnet, son muchas las voces que apuntan a que Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, PayPal, Wikipedia, AOL y el resto de grandes corporaciones contra la propuesta de ley, se encuentran en conversaciones para tener el Blackaout day o como el mismo Markham Erickson, de NetCoalition, denominó como la opción nuclear.

Una opción que trataría que todas las webs de estas empresas y sus servicios online dejaran de funcionar 24 horas con el único fin de concienciar a los usuarios de Internet y los que intentan aprobar SOPA del peligro que conlleva. Una opción arriesgada con unos costes seguramente millonarios, pero una vía final, tal y como la estarían viendo, por elevar el altavoz de denuncia sobre SOPA.
Si la batalla contra la regulación ya mostró su punto más álgido justo antes de las navidades, con el tremendo boicot a GoDaddy por apoyar la legislación, esta puede tener unas consecuencias aún mayores.
Aunque no hay confirmación oficial al respecto, la idea es clara. Toda la ira de consumidores o usuarios ante el “apagón” se podrá revertir contra la idea que se encuentra detrás de SOPA. La información que existe sobre si habrá o no una desconección de los servicios está basada en la información confidencial que fue entregada a Cnet por Markham Erickson. El hombre comunicó que las compañías se encontraban en conversaciones “muy serias” para esta protesta conjunta. De haberla, se apunta como fecha más que probable el próximo 23 de enero, un día antes de que el Senado vuelva a debatir SOPA. Esa fecha sería el momento oportuno para hacer llegar de la forma más clara la aberración que estaría a punto de aprobarse.
Así mismo lo afirmó el propio senador Harry Reid el fin de semana:
SOPA es una legislación bipartidista extremadamente importante. Esperamos que podamos tener un par de días productivos, aprobarla, y pasar a otros asuntos.
